Leonid Alexeev was invited to Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre to create costumes for a play “The Pickwick Papers”, which premiered in April 2009.

In different periods Leonid Alexeev has shown his collections at various fashion weeks and events such as Defile naNeve, ModnyDesant, RFW, Volvo Fashion Week, Russian Seasons, Melez Fest, Aurora Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

For it's original style and achievements in menswear in October 2009 the brand was awarded by GQ magazine in nomination “Designer Of The Year”.

In January 2011 Leonid Alexeev in collaboration with art institution 'Nevsky 8' launched Zapovednik project, hybrid 1 month pop-up concept space, a blend of gallery, store and bar with weekly gigs and dj-sets. The exhibition Zapovednik has brought together the best young emerging Russian artists and designers (YuliaZastava, AlinaGutkina, DimaParkhounov, Misha Most, UstinaYakovleva, FedorBitkov, Dopludo, Recycle and Renaisance art-collectives), who have created their art pieces specially for the project.

In the summer of 2011 Leonid Alexeev design studio has created a collection of casual clothes 'Show your colors' for football club Zenit, the first example of such large-scale cooperation of Russian football club with local designer. Creation of 101 items, devided into four lines, took over 12 months of work.

In October 2011 Alexeev opens the doors of his flagship store Leonid Alexeev concept space, located in Saint-Petersburg on Petrograd Side area. Besides of his own labels (men's Leonid Alexeev and women's LACS by Leonid Alexeev) the store will distribute European independent labels of clothes, accessories and selective perfumery.

Leonid Alexeev is one of the main designers in Russian menswear. His career began at FOSP (important Russian suit manufacturer) where he started as a designer of young fashion department.

By this time Leonid Alexeev did several internship and collaborations with theaters and fashion including InstitutoEuropeo di Design in Milan. In 2002 Leonid entered Saint Petersburg Fashion Week with his own label.

In 2007 after receiving bachelor's degree in Fashion Design Menswear at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London Leonid has returned to his studio founded in 2004 in Saint-Petersburg where he continues to elaborate two lines of prêt-a-porter clothes (Leonid AlexeevHomme and Leonid Alexeev Femme), to operate with private and corporate orders, theaters, movies and stars of show business.

Designer is not afraid to experiment with mass market, that's why he constantly collaborates with various clothing and accessories brands. Since August 2009 Leonid Alexeev studio is working on a casual clothing line named ANTEN distributed in Moscow and Russian regions as well as through their own store in Saint-Petersburg in MEGA Shopping Mall.
